We are pleased to announce the INAUGURAL RECIPIENT of the California Mid-State Fair Youth Legacy Project Scholarship, Isaac Lopez.

Isaac was selected of out a very diverse and competitive group of applicants representing the entire geographical area covered by the California Mid-State Fair. “Particularly compelling” is how Mid-State Fair Board Chairperson and selection committee member Dee Lacey described the essay written by Isaac.

Isaac was recently named valedictorian of his graduating class and was accepted to several Universities including Cal Berkeley, Cal State Chico, Fresno State University and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  Isaac will be attending Cal Poly SLO in the fall majoring in Ag Science.  After graduation, Isaac hopes to become an Agriculture educator.
